For those who love to surf, come by and meet author Paul Hayden, author of a new surfing novel, The Nonconformist.

Go Set a WatchmanAlso, in case you didn’t hear, Harper Lee’s long-lost novel, Go Set a Watchman, has been found and publishes July 14th. We’re taking pre-orders!

Have a glorious Fourth of July and remember to have fun (and stay safe) out there. As always, all of our stores will be open everyday and full hours!

What We’re Reading:

Anastasia – finished Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg – “It was an interesting book for me to read. I will recommend this book for men as well as women. As you know, I am native Russian, so a lot of things I read in this book were new to me; I never thought about things from this point of view. However, after going to school in USA, I see now everything that she’s talking about. This book is meant to encourage you to go out of your comfort zone. Inspiring and easy, good read!”

Carrie – finished The Queen of the Tearling & The Invasion of the Tearling by Erika Johansen – “I LOVED them!” – and Seeing Redd Book 2 of the Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor – “Pretty good!”

Lori Jo – just started The Jezebel Remedy by Martin Clark – “I really like his writing and he lives and sets his novels in a small Virginia town that I’ve spent a lot of time in as well.”
